(Cushing, Okla.) Victor Caudle, President of Cushing’s Lions Club, called the meeting to order Tuesday, April 17th at about 12:15 pm. The agenda began with the pledge led by Lion Mary Kelly, and was followed by a request for prayers, and then the prayer with Lion and City Manager Terry Brannon.

 

Caudle visited with the club about upcoming events including: Junior Olympics, May 1 (2018), the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, held on Saturday during Alumni Weekend, and the Lions Club Golf Tournament on June 1st (2018).

 

Persons interested in sponsoring a three man team in the Lions Club Golf Tournament (Scramble) pay $300 per team sponsorship, and if you’re looking to be a hole sponsor only the cost will be $100. Brannon told the club about the tree planting scheduled in celebration of Arbor Day at the Cushing Public Library this afternoon at 1:30 pm, and how the trees were a donation from Enbridge Energy Company. (The planting was to take place on the west side of the Library.)

 

The meeting adjourned around 12:45 (pm).
