(Cushing, Okla.) Rehab-Manager Jeanne Wheeler-Loveland spoke yesterday to Cushing Lions Club at their regular Noon meeting about the Physical Therapy Program at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing (HHC). Jeanne said that one of the most outstanding success stories is that of Kristine Mertes, a woman that was hit while riding a lawn mower. Kristine went through two years of rehab therapy combining in-hospital rehab with home health therapy “or” care.
Jeanne feels working in the physical therapy field has definitely allowed her to make a difference. She also says the rewards are huge!
