(Cushing, Okla) — Republic Services and the City of Cushing have partnered to open the convenience center, 515 N. Luella Street, beginning Monday, October 18 thru Sunday, October 24, 2021, to allow residents or those who are utility customers of the City of Cushing to dump for free.  The hours will be 8 am – 5 pm, Monday thru Saturday, and 1 – 4 pm on Sunday.

There will be no curbside clean-up this fall.  Please consider helping someone who may not have the ability to haul items to the convenience center.

Guidelines:

Bulk items should be bagged, in boxes or other containers.

Brush should be cut into 4-foot lengths and should not weigh more than 50 lbs.

No construction or demolition materials will be picked up

Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are accepted, provided that the Freon has been properly drained by a qualified technician, with a certification issued and placed on the unit.

No hazardous waste will be picked up or collected at the transfer station.  The transfer station will be open during the bulk cleanup week.  Mattresses are accepted.  Brush dropped off at the transfer station does not need to be bundled.

City of Cushing residents must present proof or residency (a utility bill and a form of identification).
