Cushing Fire Department recently hosted fire equipment suppliers Task Force Tips (TFT) and Wayest Safety.  The Cushing FD invited fire departments from four counties to see the latest in nozzles, foam and other specialty equipment.  It was the first time Task Force Tips has been to Cushing, although their representative Thom Jones spent time in the Cushing area while attending college at OSU.

KUSH got a sneak peak of the new ambulance when Wayest representative Lee Collins had a photo in his cell phone.  The bright red state-of-the-art ambulance was on display in Dallas at the Fire Rescue International show attended by Wayest and TFT.  All TFT equipment is American-made and owned by firefighters in Indiana.  Wayest is a distributor of safety equipment.  Representative from both companies were on hand to answer questions from area firefighters regarding safety equipment and to help them with any equipment needs.

“These guys at the Cushing Fire Department are great,” said Collins.  “It was our pleasure to stop in and let firefighters from this area see our products and help them with any of their needs.”
