(Cushing, Okla.) There isn’t much one can buy with a $5 bill these days, but music fans can enjoy an evening of great music for just that at Cushing Country Club. The third Thursday of each month, Red Dirt Ranger John Cooper invites a special guest to share the stage at the Cushing Country Club – and it’s open to the public – and usually, it is only $5.
This month Cooper has invited Ben Han to perform. Han is a native of Malaysia, but has lived in Oklahoma since 1983. He plays lead guitar and does vocals with the Red Dirt Rangers. He began playing guitar at age 13 and went on to play a variety of music – cabaret, disco and punk rock – in his first band at age 17.
