(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing Community Theatre, located on Broadway in downtown Cushing, announces tickets are on sale now for the summer musical, “Magic of the Movies & Songs,” directed by Debbie Webb. Dinner Shows are on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11 and Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18. Dinner show tickets are $25 per person or reserve a table of 8 for $192. Reservation deadlines are: Tuesday, June 7th for June 10th and 11th and Tuesday, June 14th for June 17th and 18th.
This musical is a show the whole family will enjoy. It will showcase popular songs from movies that “have captured the nation’s heart, echoed beyond the walls of a movie theater and ultimately stand in our collective memory of the movie.” It will include songs from six decades – the ones you have come to love.
Performing in this year’s musical are: Jordan Hogrefe, Brian Johnson, Randy Judd, Frank Paxton, Lindsey Elsberry, Susan Kemp, Harley Roche, Sharen Smith and Diana Sue Young.
Show only performances will be Thursday, June 9th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 12 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, June 19 at 2 p.m. Cost of Show Only performances are $12 at the door or $10 in advance.
Reservations are not required for Show Only performances.
