(Cushing) — Andrew Katz has submitted his resignation as Cushing City Manager, effective February 1st. Katz submitted a letter of resignation to Cushing City Attorney Stewart Arthurs, who passed it on to City Commissioners during a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners Wednesday Night.

That meeting had been called to for commissioners to consider alternatives is assisting residents with the ongoing ice storm clean-up.

Katz has been on the job a little more than three years. Although he did not give specifics in his letter of resignation, Katz indicated he was taking a similar job in New Jersey.
