CUSHING — On March 6, 2020 the first case of a novel coronavirus (“COVID-19”), was confirmed in the State of Oklahoma. Since that time, multiple additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the State. The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention has identified the public health threat posed by COVID-19 as “high” both globally and in the United States. As local, state and federal agencies have declared emergencies and are taking necessary actions to protect vulnerable populations knowing that such actions may negatively impact the economy. The Cushing Chamber of Commerce, Cushing Economic Development Foundation and the City of Cushing would like to make the following Coronavirus Toolkit available to all Cushing area businesses.

As resources continually become available, the Cushing Chamber of Commerce, Cushing Economic Development Foundation and the City of Cushing will make those resources available within the Coronavirus Toolkit.
Cushing Chamber of Commerce, Cushing Economic Development Foundation and the Cushing Industrial Authority are developing a survey to determine the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on local businesses in order to disseminate to local, state and federal representatives.
