The Cushing Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Dec. 6th at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the Cushing Schools Administration Offices, 1401 North Little Avenue in Cushing.
Agenda items include the approval of $131,289.04 in encumbrances and the action on the minutes of the regular meeting Nov. 8th as well as the special meeting of Nov. 11th.
Board members will also discuss and take action on salary adjustments.
Superintendent Koln Knight will report on various topics including drop out reports, enrollment report, sick leave and absence report and activity fund reports from each of the schools. Knight will also give an budget update as well as lead a discussion of grade centers.
In executive session, members will discuss the resignation of Harmony Elementary teacher Janet McNeil and the possible employment of Jordan Thomas, Harmony Elementary teacher, Dr. Mary Meritt, Consulting Services for OTAC and Sherry Maxwell, Statistical Evaluator for OTAC. Once the discussions have ended, the board will return to open session to vote on each of the above.
