(Cushing, Okla.)  Football season started off with a bang for the Cushing Tigers and Drumright Tornadoes with both teams conquering their opponents.  This is the first year KUSH has broadcasted both Tiger football and Tornado football. 

Fans can view the games LIVE via the KUSH video streaming links posted on the right side of the News page of our website (https://www.citylinktv.com/channel/cushing-1600-kush/ and https://www.citylinktv.com/channel/drumright-1600-kush/).  Cushing Tiger football is also broadcasted live on KUSH 1600 and via the audio streaming link of our website or on your tunein radio app.  Tornado football games are re-broadcasted Saturday at noon on KUSH radio.

The Cushing Tigers took on their long-time rival Bristow Purple Pirates scoring early and never looking back.  With weather coming in, officials stopped the game a few minutes early, with the Tigers defeating the Pirates 41 to 0.

Drumright Tornadoes also left the field early due to weather, soundly defeating Wellston 25 – 13.
