(Guthrie, Okla.) Cushing Regional Hospital announces they will host a Transitions Lunch & Learn Wednesday, Jan. 25th at noon in Guthrie. The luncheon will be held at Granny Had One Banquet and Event Center located at 312 West Oklahoma (located just west of City Hall).
Elise White, RN, Transitions Program Director at Cushing Regional Hospital will be the featured speaker. White’s topic is: Improving Treatment Compliance in the Mentally Ill.
White will answer questions such as:
* Are the mentally ill really less compliant with treatment?
* What barriers do the mentally ill face in being compliant?
* What strategies have been proven to be effective in improving compliance?
