Donations have always been an extremely important part of Cushing Regional Hospital’s ability to flourish. Recently, CRH Rehab Department has been the recipient of two very special donors who gave in order to improve the quality of care and treatment for all CRH patients.
CRH Auxiliary donated a brand new E-Stim/Ultrasound combo unit. This will enable the Rehab Department to continue providing the outstanding quality of care to the community. In addition, an anonymous donor gave a second brand new unit to the hospital, along with two light therapy attachments for both new units. The total donation was over $1000.
Light therapy is an advanced, state of the art treatment that has just recently been implemented in therapy to aid with pain management, muscle stimulation, and decreased treatment time; giving patients a greater opportunity to return to normal daily activity.
