Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation Director Marian Shiever said there are still team openings as well as sponsorships available for the charity golf event slated for 8 a.m. Saturday, May 17 at the Cushing Country Club. The event is to raise funds for the paramedic scholarship program.
The Foundation has a goal of $45,000 toward the training of nine paramedics. The estimated cost of training one is between $5,000 and $6,000. According to Shiever the golf event is just “one piece of the puzzle” toward the final goal.
The public is invited to become a sponsor or player in the First Annual CRH Foundation’s Charity Golf Event. The goal is to have 18 teams registered by April 17. The sponsorship levels are: Diamond = $1,000 (four players plus banner), Gold = $600 (four players and hole sponsor), Silver = $300 (hole sponsor), Bronze $200 (hole sponsor) and Individual Player = $100.
Prizes will be awarded: First Place – $600, Second Place – $500, and Third Place – $400.
All contributions to this event are tax deductible and ear marked for the establishment of the paramedic scholarship program.
