Connie Cobble a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the First Baptist Church in Yale. Brother Mich Dershem will officiate. Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Ok.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma.

Connie was born on February 5, 1929 in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Christopher Columbus and Johnnie (Cully) Pierce. She grew up in Madill, moving to Yale at the age of 10. Connie attended Yale High School, graduating in 1946. She married John Clinton Cobble Sr. in 1947 in Yale, to this union J.C. and Jim were born. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Connie sold Avon for over thirty years, meeting many friends that lasted for a lifetime. She loved being outdoors, especially fishing. Connie was crazy about her grandchildren, loved spending time with them.

Connie is survived by her sons J.C. Cobble of Yale, Jim Cobble and wife Donna of Sea Drift, Tx., grandchildren John Brandon Cobble, Nathan Alan Cobble, and James Cobble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clinton Cobble in Oct. 1990, daughter-in-law Janet Cobble, brothers Jess Pierce, Henry Pierce and Carl Pierce.
