Congressman Frank Lucas has canceled his Town Hall Meetings previously scheduled for July 19 and 20th, one of which was slated for Cushing.
Lucas said, “Due to recent events, I regret to announce I am canceling the previously scheduled town hall meetings. I will be in Washington working with my colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives to come up with commonsense solutions for balancing the budget and tackling debt ceiling issues.”
A notice was sent out to media outlets effected by the cancellations.
Lucas went on to say he looks forward to future meetings with his constituents in Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District.
