The principals at Cushing Middle School, Pat Elder, Principal and Sally
Wright, Assistant principal, recently issued a congratulations to the
upcoming 8th grade class. The following is an letter outlining graduation
events.
Parents:
Congratulations are in order to you and your 8th grade child! The time is approaching when our 8th grade students will soon become high school students, and many preparations for activities are being planned.
To better inform you of these activities, we have developed an itinerary of events. STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE SOUVENIR T-SHIRT THAT THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR AT EACH EVENT BELOW IF THEY WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENTS.
Friday, May 22nd: 8th Grade Trip to Frontier City in OKC (students will be back in time to ride the bus home.)
Friday, May 22nd: 8th Grade Dance, Inflatables, Refreshments, CMS Cafeteria, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 27th 8th grade awards assembly, CHS auditorium, 9 a.m. *Students will be presented a certificate of promotion during the assembly – dress will be souvenir t-shirt and jeans or appropriate length shorts.
“We will miss our 8th grade students and we wish them a bright and prosperous future. A big thanks also goes to our parents who have given support to Cushing Middle School.”
