(Drumright, Okla.) Drumright City Manager Mark Whinnery announced the City of Drumright is changing trash providers effective Monday, October 1st.
Central Disposal will be making their final pick-ups today through Friday, Sept. 28th. Once they make their last pick up at an address, they will take their polycart. The new service, Republic Services, is placing their polycarts throughout Drumright all week.
When will I receive my first bill?
You will continue to receive your bill from the City as usual at the same time each month.
When should I set out my container by the curb?
Please be sure your container is at the curb by 6:00 am on your collection day to ensure your container is serviced. You may also set your container at the curb the night before. All waste must be contained inside the container for collection. If you need a second container to accommodate your disposal needs, please contact City Hall.
Where do I put my container by the curb?
Please place your container(s) at the curb with lid(s) opening toward the street with a minimum of 3 feet between each container. Please make sure there is nothing blocking the container.
Can I change my service option?
Yes, you can request to add a second 95-gallon container to your residence or change the size of your commercial dumpster. Businesses that have a 95-gallon container can also request a second one.
Residential and business 95-gallon containers are always serviced once a week. Businesses can adjust the frequency of a dumpster collection from once a week to twice a week upon request. Please contact City Hall for information regarding changes to your service program frequency.
Can I use my own or another company’s container?
No, we will not service another company’s container or one purchased from a store. If our container is damaged due to normal service, we will repair it or replace it at no charge.
