Cimarron Correctional Facility Honors Military This Veterans’ Day

(Cushing, OK) – In honor of Veterans’ Day, Cimarron Correctional Facility is honoring its veterans and active duty military servicepersons through commemorative facility efforts and online initiatives. Cimarron is one of 65 correctional facilities nationwide owned and operated by Corrections Corporation of America (CCA). CCA employs 17,000 employees and approximately 10 percent are veterans.

Using the company’s online news site – www.InsideCCA.com – as an interactive forum, employees companywide have shared appreciative messages, comments and experiences to recognize former and present military servicepersons. Their responses are featured in an article entitled “Courageous for Our Country: Celebrating Veterans’ Day.”

Along with special online recognitions, employees at Cimarron Correctional Facility will enjoy a small celebratory event here at the facility.

Cimarron Correctional Facility has had a lot of luck hiring staff with military background experience. Much of their military background helps with the successful transition from a military career to a career in corrections. On this Veteran’s holiday, I join all of our staff in saluting our veterans and honoring them for their service to our country.
