The deadline for nominating an alumnus for the 2009 CHS Hall of Fame is fast approaching. Here are the Rules for Nomination:
To be considered, the nominee must meet the following criteria:
1. Nominee shall be an alumnus of Cushing High School (The definition of Alumnus shall be left to the discretion of the Selection Committee as to whether a nominee must be a graduate or have attended CHS For a specific period of time.)
2. The only accomplishments that will be considered by the Selection Committee are those achieved after the nominee completed his/her high school education.
3. The nominee’s resume, in addition to a concise statement of pertinent information shall be submitted to the selection committee and must include the following information:
A. Full name and address, year of graduation or attendance at Cushing High School as well as family information.
B. Education beyond high school, to include degrees and honors obtained.
C. Military service, if any.
D. Civic and community involvement, memebership in professional organizations, honors and awards received.
E. Accomplishment, achievements and special interests.

The Cushing High School Hall of Fame Selection Committee consists of members chosen annually by the CHS Alumni Association Executive Board. The selection committee shall hold the above criteria as being of relatively equal importance in their consideration of nominees for selection to the CHS Hall Of Fame.
