The Chandler Lions kicked off the season Thursday night against a very experienced class 2A Stroud Tiger team. The Stroud Tigers came out and jumped on the Lions early and never looked back defeating Chandler 36-6. However, the run game for Chandler continued to impress led by senior back Chance Rich and fullback Aaron Fox.  Rich carried the load for the Lions rushing attack by continuously carrying the pigskin drive after drive compiling 81 yards on the ground.

Next Friday the Chandler Lions will be traveling to Kingfisher for their first road test of the season. The Yellow Jackets last year finished the season 12-3 and state runner up in class 2A. Kingfisher returns 8 offensive starters and 7 defensive starters from last years state runner up team. Don’t miss a play next Friday listen live to Jeff and Perry on www.1600kush.com.
