(Chandler) – In what many view as one of the top small school games in the state, Chandler will host Clinton to finally get the home portion of the schedule underway. The Lions opened with 2 straight on the road, both of which ended up being big wins. Last week, Chandler pasted Bristow, 40-0, that followed a 45-13 win over Stroud in the opener.

Meanwhile, the Clinton Red Tornadoes have defeated local rivals Weatherford and Elk City, both by respectable margins (48-17 over Weatherford and 21-6 over Elk City), and bring to town one of the top football traditions in the state. Clinton last year dropped down from class 4A, which they dominated for years, to 3A with predictable results. Clinton defeated Kingisher for last season’s 3A title. It was the fifteenth state football title for Clinton.

Kickoff in Chandler is at 7:30.
