(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing Chamber of Commerce welcomed Salon 33 with a ribbon cutting on Friday, July 2.
Stylist and owner Karen Crapse pays attention to detail – whether working with a client or putting a finishing touch on the decorating – she has an artist’s touch.
“I think working with hair is art,” Crapse said. “I love to get my fingers into a clients hair…it’s like sculpting.”
Customer service tops the list with Crapse and the crew at Salon 33. “We want our clients to be happy with their hair – and if they aren’t – we want them to call and let us know,” Crapse said.
Crapse is not new to the business, prior to moving to Cushing two years ago, she owned a salon in Owasso, Okla. “This one is a little smaller,” she said, “but we are excited about it!”
Karen Crapse is married to a “cutter” of another sort – Dr. Fred Crapse, general surgeon at Cushing Regional Hospital. “We like it here,” the Crapses said. “It’s home.”
Salon 33 is located in the new strip mall on East Main in Cushing.
