(Drumright, Okla.) Central Tech held their annual Open House today at their Drumright and Sapulpa campuses. Food vendors, car shows, and a free health fair were just a few of the activities held at both campuses.
Guests were able to try their skill at laparoscopic surgery on the simulator in the Surgical Technology classroom, extract DNA from a strawberry in the Biomedical Sciences classroom and learn about SCADA security at the Pipeline and Safety Training Center which is the only one of its kind in the state.
Central Tech offers many career choices in either full-time or short-term courses, with certifications and licensure available in most areas of study. Central Tech has also received the Gold Star of Excellence Award 23 years in a row at the Annual Oklahoma Association of Career and Technical Education summer conference held in Oklahoma City.
