(Stillater, Okla) Karman Legacy Hospice is offering a Butterfly Release Saturday, September 29, 2018, 10 am, Couch Park, 800 East 12th Ave. Stillwater, OK as a memorial of loved ones who have died during the past year. “This will be a time of reflection and celebration of lives lived. We hope to continue this celebration for many years to come,” said Melody Crotts, KLH social worker.
“We will recognize those who have died, have songs performed by Ciara Brooks and the release of the gorgeous Painted Lady butterflies.”
Seating will be limited and participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets.
Anyone wishing to have a butterfly released in honor of a loved one may pre-order by August 24, 2018. A check or money order for $5.00 covers the cost of the butterfly and its packaging.
In addition, Karman Legacy Hospice will have commemorative t-shirts for this event. In order to assure shirts are available for the Memorial service, prepaid shirts will be ordered by Aug. 24 as well.
