(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
Daniel Michael Matel (24) of Owasso, Matthew Darin Penwright (26) of Stillwater, and Joseph Tyler Glennie (21) of Broken Arrow were all involved in a 3 vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon May 20th (2015) about 4:14 (pm). The accident occurred at 26th and Main, just south of Stillwater.
Matel was stopped to turn onto 26th, and Penwright was stopped behind Matel when Glennie, who was northbound, failed to stop.
Matel and Penwright were both transported by LifeNet to Stillwater Medical Center where they treated and released. Glennie was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition with head, leg and trunk internal injuries.
Failure to stop for a stopped vehicle is stated to be the cause of the collision.
