(Cushing) – The Cushing Chamber of Commerce is again without an Executive Director after the resignation of Bobby Bryant, who has been on the job about six months. Bryant submitted a resignation letter via email to Chamber President Marc White Monday afternoon.
White told KUSH that the Chamber had received the letter, and would be discussing it at a meeting of the executive committee “in the very near future”. White would offer no other comment.
Bryant confirmed to KUSH that he had submitted the letter today, after careful consideration over the weekend. Bryant told KUSH that controversy over his handling of a Chamber Member directory, and hosting at the Chamber offices of the one year anniversary “Donna & Molly” show did not sit well with some of the executive committee members.
Bryant was hired in late February as Executive Director of the Chamber.
