Drumright held their first book parade on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Students from Drumright, Oilton and Oak Grove participated, dressed as their favorite book character to promote reading and literacy.
The parade started at the Drumright Fire Department ending at the Historical Society Museum.
Over 200 children participated in the parade. This was the first book parade held and organizers are looking forward to next year.
