(Cushing, Okla.) Congratulations to Blake Burden, CHS senior for receiving the Tulsa World Player of the Week Award.
Blake had 82 yards, four catches and a touchdown in the 26 – 14 win over Kingfisher last Friday night during the Class 3A semi-final game. The Tigers will play for their first state championship against the winner of Locust Grove and Heritage Hall. The date and time has not been set yet for the championship game.
Congratulations Blake! This is the second consecutive week that a Cushing player has received this award!
