The Chandler Lions held the Knights to just two first downs in the first half and dominated the game in every aspect Friday night.  The Lions took a lead into halftime off of a touchdown by quarterback Chance Rich which capped an impressive drive  before the half. However, late in the third quarter the Knights offense began to come alive led by big plays from the wide receiver position for the Knights. Though in the fourth quarter the Lions were still in the game down 8-6, until a defensive let down allowed Henryetta to score on a 70 yard touchdown run to put the game away late in the fourth. The Lions played great defense throughout the game containing Henryetta’s big time running back who rushed for over 200 yards last week, Chandler only allowed the Knights back to rush for less than 80 yards, 70 yards coming off of one play.

The Lions have continued to play well the past two games but however, have been unable to come out with their first victory of the season. Look for big things from the Lions next Friday as they travel home to take on the Bristow Pirates (4-2) on the season coming off a win against Prague.
