Betty Lea Frisbie, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Stroud Regional Medical Center at the age of 83. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Park Place Baptist Church in Cushing. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing.
Serving as casketbearers will be Sammy Worthy, Stacey Worthy, Steven Worthy, Steven Denton,

Betty was born on September 25, 1926 in Cushing, Oklahoma to the late Raymond and Mabel (Young) Harris. She was raised in the Avery area, moving to Cushing in 1946 where she met and married the love of her life Kenneth R. Frisbie on July 7, 1947 in Cushing and remained until her death. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her
Betty was a member of Park Place Baptist Church . She enjoyed spending time with her grand children.
Betty is survived by her sons Kenny Frisbie of Perkins, Mike Frisbie and wife Ginger of Sapulpa, daughters Sherry Worthy and husband Johnny of Cushing, Mary Hammock and husband Robert of Cushing, sister Maxine Buntin of Stillwater, and sister-in-law Serita Cooper and husband James of Cushing, grandchildren Tara Reese, Mika Vandelune, Eryn Miller, Keira Flanary, Steven Denton, Sammy Worthy, Steven Worthy, Stacey Worthy, Lisa Hicks, Angie Hicks, Stephanie Reese, Christy McEntire, and twenty-seven great grandchildren, and several other nieces and nephews.
