(Cushing, Okla.)  The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service, has reissued a recall of beef products affecting stores nationwide – including Oklahoma.

The Class 1 recall early last month initially stated the recalled products had been shipped to distribution centers and retail establishments in California, Florida, Illinois and Texas. 

The current list of distributors, updated on March 4, 2014, published by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has been expanded to include more than 6,300 retailers throughout the U.S. and Guam.

According to the list published at www.fsis.usda.gov/, area grocery stores that may be affected by the recall are: Williams Discount Foods in Bristow, Chandler, Drumright, Perkins and Stroud; Food Pyramid in Stillwater and Cushing; Ballard’s Food in Oilton; Phelp’s Foods in Mannford and IGA in Stillwater.   Click here for complete list: FSIS.USDA.GOV BEEF RECALL LIST
