Once again, Dr. Sandra Williams will be holding a free workshop at Cushing Community Theatre. The one-hour workshop on “Basic Stage Skills” will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22nd at Cushing Community Theatre located at 105 E. Broadway in Cushing. The workshop will cover presentation techniques, including ways to stand, move and speak effectively. All ages are welcome.
“These skills are useful for actors, public speakers and any kind of performance,” Williams said. She is currently a Theatre Artist in Residence with the Oklahoma Arts Council and the director of CCT’s upcoming production, “The Turn of the Worm.”
The workshop and play are sponsored in part by a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council.
