Ambrose L. Hines, a former Cushing resident now of Arcadia, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 in the Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 60 years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK. The family will be greeting friends at the home of Summer Jensen, 3422 East Ridgewood Drive, Cushing, OK from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012.
The son of Gordon and Dorothy Hines, Ambrose was born on May 22, 1952 in White Deer, TX.
Ambrose had worked in construction with the French family since 1982 and had most recently been a foreman for them. He lived in Cushing from 1993 until 2002 before moving to Guthrie for a short time and then on to Arcadia.
Ambrose is survived by his children, Chase Hines of Guthrie, Dusty Hines and his wife Toni of Arcadia, Summer Jensen and her husband Sean of Cushing, and Gregory Hines and his wife Crystal of Guthrie; two brothers, Jimmy Hines and his wife Iris and Brian Hines; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Ambrose was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Hines and one brother, Garland Hines.
