(Cushing, Okla.) The Women in Business Luncheon was held on Thursday, April 9th (2015) in the Cushing Chamber Board Room. The session started with lunch that was served at 11:30 a.m. from sponsor and caterer Food Pyramid. It continued on with speaker Suzette Barta, of the Payne County Extension office.
Barta is a Payne County Extension Educator, and is in Cushing Community and Economic Development at Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension. She took the floor at noon and informed the women in attendance at the luncheon of what the Payne County Extension Office has to offer; things like Horticulture, 4-H, and Agriculture. Barta prepared a Power Point Presentation for the group and spoke briefly about Facebook for business, her blog https://www.moderatelymodern.com/ and https://doodle.com/ (a scheduling system for events).
