(Cushing, Okla.) Abby Jones was named the 2013 Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo Queen Saturday night. It was her second attempt for the crown. The 11-year-old daughter of Brian and Dana Jones was thrilled to have the honor of becoming this year’s queen.
Abby had competition from Kelsi Oyler, a junior at Stillwater High School, but ended up with the title after selling over $4,000 worth of Rodeo tickets. Sales play the major role in being named queen.
2012 Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo Queen Heather Taylor presented the crown to Abby.
