(Cushing, Okla.) Heather Taylor said a fond farewell as she relinquished her reign as Rodeo Queen. Read what she wrote regarding the past year.
“It’s been an exciting year since I was crowned as the 2012 Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo Queen. The hard work helped to earn the crown culminating in that first ride around the areana as your new rodeo queen. Now I will be riding my last ride as your queen at this year’s event! Not only was the crown a great blessing, but I also graduated from Drumright High School this year. My hopes are that these blessings will continue in my life.
This past year has given me great memories to treasure. Because of these great events, I encourage all girls to compete for the corwn. This event brings everyone together, family and friends. It not only creates new friendships with other girls, but with the Cushing community.
As for future plans, I’m continuing my education and gaining experience working with animals.”
