(Cushing, Okla.) The Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation, along with the Cushing Masonic Lodge, hosted the 7th Annual Charity Golf Event at the Cushing Country Club on June 21. The estimated $9800 in profits and proceeds assist in providing paramedic training for Cushing EMTs and other emergency equipment that could be needed in the Hillcrest Hospital Cushing.
Teams Rodolfo and Bank of Cushing had winning scores of 51. The final winners were established in a card playoff to see which team played the best on the most difficult holes. Team Rodolfo was declared the winner of A Flight winning $600. Bank of Cushing won second and received $500. Continental Concrete won $400 as 3rd place winners with a score of 53.
B Flight winners were also decided on a card playoff. Winning the B Flight was Team Wasson with a score of 59. They won $600. Team Duff won second with a score of 62 and won $500. Central Technology won 3rd place with a score of 63.
Kalka Insurance sponsored the Putting Contest and the Hole in One contest. Five qualifiers were established for the final putt. No one was able to putt the 50 foot distance to win the $2500. Each qualifier received a gift card donated by Nafieh’s Deli and Grill. There was not a winner for the Hole in One contest.
Nike Drivers were given to individual winners for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Mike Gaskins and Jennifer Snow won the men and women’s Closest to the Pin contest. Melissa Cobb and Brad Jordan won the men and women’s Longest Drive.
