CHS 1951 graduate Ann McGaha- Pat terson and her husband, Wayne, will celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary on June 22, 2009.
In a recent phone conversation, Ann recounted a wonderful story about how the two of them met. Sigma Nu fraternity at Oklahoma
State University was sponsoring a social for their pledges. Young ladies were invited as dance partners for the pledges and Ann was one who received an invitation. A friend of Ann’s had been on campus a few days prior to the event and came back talking excitedly about Wayne Pat terson. Ann was impressed and decided rather than spend the evening dancing with pledges, she wanted to meet Wayne .
The good news is that Ann and Wayne met that evening and married shortly after Ann graduated from CHS in 1951 and currently make their home in Casselberry , Florida . More fascinating life stories from Ann are coming soon to the Official CHS 1963 website.
