A variety of artwork representing talented local artists will be on display during the 14th Biennial Cushing Community Art Show at the Lachenmeyer Arts Center. The exhibit opens on Monday September 8th and will conclude with a closing reception on Sunday, September 21st, 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The public is invited.
The biennial art show is held in September of every even numbered year. On display will be paintings, earthenware, raku, baskets, photographs, serigraphs, silk scarves and mixed media works of art.
Participating artists are Betty Bowen, Larry Crumbliss, Linda Crumbliss, Briea Evans, Diane G. Harwick, MJ Henderson-Smith, Earnestine Hodo, Gwen Ingram, Nell Maxwell, Darrell Maynard, Barbara Baker Phillips, Brittany Pittser, Lee V. Rose, Rob Smith, Maryo Strong, Nona Vance, Randall Don Watkins, Linda Wells and Liz Wilson.
Gallery hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday& Friday and 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday & Thursday. The Lachenmeyer Arts Center is located in the Cushing Youth & Community Center at 700 S. Little Ave. For more information call Rob Smith at 918-225-7525.
