(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is based on a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.

 

An injury collision occurred on Thursday, December 22nd (2016) at approximately 5:12 pm on SH33 westbound, 2 miles west of 305th West Avenue, and about 4 miles west of Kellyville, in Creek County.

 

Evelyn J. Cooper (42) of Mannford was westbound on SH33 while Patrick McFarland (32) of Stillwater, and Janna J. Skinner (36) of Edmond were both eastbound on State Highway 33 (all three were driving separate vehicles). Cooper went left of center in her vehicle striking McFarland’s Vehicle which in turn rolled one revolution coming to rest on its wheels. Cooper’s vehicle then continued on westbound and struck Skinner’s vehicle head-on causing Cooper’s vehicle and Skinner’s vehicle to catch fire.

 

Cooper was transported by Creek County EMS to Saint Francis (Tulsa) where she was admitted. Her passenger a juvenile male, age 2, of Mannford was also transported by Creek County EMS to Saint Francis (Tulsa) where he treated and released.

 

Patrick McFarland was transported by Creek County EMS to SMC (Stillwater) where he was treated and released. His passengers Jennifer L. McFarland (39) of Stillwater and two juveniles ages 10 and 13 were also transported by Creek County EMS to SMC (Stillwater) where they were also treated and released.

 

Skinner was transported by Creek County EMS to Saint Francis (Tulsa) where she was admitted in serious condition her injuries. Her passengers all juveniles ages 12 and under from Edmond were transported by Creek County EMS to Saint Francis (Tulsa) where they were all treated and released.

 

According to the DPS report seat-belts were in use.

 

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
