KUSH listeners get some more great music added to our unique, progressive Americana/Country/Texas Music/Blues/Local Music/Late Night Rock Format. Sheryl Crow is back with “Live Wire,” accompanied by Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples. Additional single adds include Jim Lauderdale’s “Some Horses,” Ellis Paul’s “You’ll Never Be This Young Again,” Stray Cats “Cat Fight, and Keb Mo with a new song about “Oklahoma” that references Chickasaws and Choctaws, cowboys and outlaws, Tulsa’s Greenwood, Archer, and Pine Black Wall Street, and also features some wicked fiddle and guitar solos.  We look forward to hearing the story of how Keb Mo became so enamored with Oklahoma. Texas Music fans will dig Shawnee’s Jamie Richards and his new single, “Privileges of Youth,” Aaron Kantor’s “Vicariously,” and “The Winding Stair Mountain Blues” by Turnpike Troubadours. The KUSH also likes Joanne Shaw Taylor and “In the Mood,” from her new CD, Reckless Heart, which will drop into the blues category. More great music for kushing with your friends to the radio on 1600 AM or online through the website here. Later!
