(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing High School student Meghan Beede has almost completed her second year as Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo Queen.  Beede first won the title in 2007 and then returned to win it again in 2009.

“I enjoyed it so much the first time, I had to do it again,” Beede said.

It’s a wonder she has time for her queenly duties with all she is involved in – school, Varsity Dance Team and two jobs – one at Braum’s and this summer – the water park.  In her spare time – besides hanging out on Facebook – Beede still finds time to enjoy horseback riding.  She speaks fondly of her dear friend and mentor Leora Barrows who helped start her on her path to “queen-dom.”

As for the future – who knows?  But whatever Beede decides to do, she will do it as any queen would do – well.

Meghan is the daughter of Nicole Moody and Danny Beede.
