(Drumright, Okla) — Saturday was a great day at Drumright Monthly Market with vendors, live music by Davis Sellers and Gene Collier and a Chili Cook-Off!
The Chili Cook-Off was a first for Drumright Monthly Market and was deemed a huge success with nearly 100 tickets sold and 60 pounds of chili eaten! Even more importantly, over $600 was raised for the Drumright Historical Society Museum.
First Place (Chili Boss) was awarded to Amanda Levis, representing the Rotary Club of Drumright.
Second Place – Amie Davis – Drumright Monthly Market
Third Place – Myrna Sellers – Drumright Area Chamber of Commerce
Honorable mentions were Matt Burn/Cash – Western Fiber and Matt Stephenson, Hallet Cannabis Grower
Recipes from all the contestants will be available for purchase in the near future with all proceeds benefiting the Museum.
