(Cushing, Okla.)  The Dora Hobbs Performing Arts Center will be hopping and bopping as Cushing High School students perform the family-friendly musical, Hairspray, Jr.

Set in 1962, the “spunky, plus-size teen,” Tracy Turnblad, played by CHS senior Kayden Wright, has one big dream – to dance on the popular “Corny Collins Show.”  When she finally gets her shot, she’s “transformed from social outcast to sudden star.”  The now unstoppable Tracy fights to integrate the TV network in the process.

The team of players include Dakota Norman as Corny Collins and Isaac Ritter as the local heart-throb, Link Larkin.  (Click here to view Dakota, Isaac and Kayden on HOME with the KUSH Girls)
