Dear Cushing Citizens,
On April 2, you have a chance to make an impact on your community. It is my hope that you will trust me to represent you and the city of Cushing as a City Commissioner. As you prepare to cast your vote, I ask that you remember my desire to strategically plan for the continued growth and development of this community through the following projects:
Cushing Power Plant: retain unrestricted capacity to produce electricity at any time by completing critical upgrades
Sewer system: gain compliance with an Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality Consent Order regarding water inflow
Water lines: ensure safe, unrestricted water delivery to every household and business served by the city of Cushing, and to fight fires in every neighborhood using working fire hydrants.
While this is not all-inclusive, I believe these are some of our most critical infrastructure needs as a community.
Are there other infrastructure needs? Yes!
Am I committed to continuous improvements to our streets on a yearly basis? Yes!
Am I committed to working to better our community by making continuous improvements to our park and recreation system? Yes!
Everything our community expects from their city comes with economic balance. I am committed to promoting a strategic mindset, studying the issues and rendering sound, objective decisions that will benefit Cushing today and for years to come.
I want to thank each of you who have been active in supporting my quest to become your City Commissioner. It has been a tremendous honor to seek to serve each of you.
In closing, I ask for your support next Tuesday, April 2. However, should you choose not to vote for me, I hope that you will still exercise your right to vote and support your community.
