(Cushing, Okla.) The 5th annual Ladies Day will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Cushing Christian Church located at 302 S. Linwood Avenue in Cushing. This year’s theme is “In everything, give thanks.”
Special speakers for this year’s event are Chellie Mills, news anchor and journalist at KFOR in Oklahoma City, and Robin Marsh, news anchor and journalist at KWTV in Oklahoma City.
Worship will be led by Lori Williams, with special music by “Heartsong” and Joy Sadler Wattenburger.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., Tie Binders, the ladies group from Cushing Christian Church, will be serving homemade breads such as banana, pumpkin and zucchini, along with donuts and other sweet delicacies. Coffee and hot tea will also be available.
The event will dismiss at noon with a boxed lunch provided by Naifeh’s. Guests are invited to stay as long as they’d like to visit with each other as well as getting to know the speakers.
