(Cushing, Okla) — Every November 11, Americans pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our military. Whether it’s a veteran they know personally or heroes they’ve never met, Veterans Day is a chance to reflect, remember, and show gratitude no only to those who served, but to the families who supported them.
In view of that, The American Legion Donaldson/Walker Post, will host a remembrance ceremony from 5 – 6 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Post 108, 214 S. Noble St., Cushing, Oklahoma, rain or shine. The ceremony will include: posting of all service flags, musical and 3 volley salute, and light refreshments afterwards inside the Post building.
A special feature that day will be the unveiling of 40 additional bricks recently installed in the Post 108 Walk of Honor, bringing the brick total to 553. Persons who previously purchased bricks to honor their or their relatives’ service will be directed to the site of those. Forms are available to request bricks for future inclusion into the Walk at $50 each.
Business and community members are cordially invited to this special community event to recognize those who willingly pledged their lives for this great nation.
