(Cushing, Okla) – You can help American Legion Post 108 remember those who have served in protecting our nation! On May 22, 2025, Legion members and anyone who wants to help, will meet at the Legion Hall, 214 S. Noble Ave, at 11 am to pick up flags and to go to local cemeteries to place the flags on graves of departed brother and sister veterans.
On Memorial Day, May 26, Post 108, with the assistance of the following groups will be honoring veterans who have passed on from this world. “Some gave all, all gave some.”
The public is invited to attend any or all of the following events:
9 am – Cushing City Hall at the flag pole
10 am – Fairlawn Cemetery at the flag pole
11 am – Euchee Valley Memorial Park in the Veterans section with all the service flags
Ceremonies will include, Taps, 21-gun salute and a speaker
Please join Post 108 and the community on the 157th Decoration Day in paying respects to those who gave all in defense of The United States.
