(Stillwater, Okla.) — Two Perkins motorcyclists were killed in a crash involving a truck at 5:56 am on the day after Labor Day on Highway 177, about five miles south of Stillwater, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The victims were identified by the OHP as Johnny Bruce, 54, who was driving a 2020 Harley Davidson, and Scott Wittman, 54, who was driving a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle, the news release said.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by the Oklahoma Medical Examiner; neither was wearing a helmet, the news release said.
The weather was cloudy and dark at the time of the crash involving a 1997 Ford F250 on the four-lane undivided highway at E. 68 St., the news release said.
The condition of the drivers and cause of the collision remain under investigation, the news release said.
