(Cushing, Okla) — American Legion Post 108 has been busy placing flags on veteran’s graves at Fairlawn Cemetery as part of its Memorial Day ceremonies. On Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, ceremonies will be held at 9 am in front of Cushing City Hall, 10 am at Fairlawn Cemetery and 11 am at Euchee Valley Cemetery. The special speaker is Commander O’Leary.
American Legion Post 108 meetings are held at 7 pm, the 2nd and 5th Monday of the month, at American Legion Donaldson-Walker Post 108 located at 214 S. Noble in Cushing. Brunch is also served to veterans each Wednesday morning from 9 – 11.
